Melissa High School Defensive Lineman, Nigel Smith, was officially honored Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, as a member of the 2024 All-American Bowl team during a virtual jersey presentation as part of the Road to the Dome digital series.
The All-American Bowl is an annual NBS Sport events that is known to be the most prestigious high school football all-star event. Smith, a University of Oklahoma commit, was selected to take part in the Bowl along with only 100 other players from around the nation. The Road to the Dome Tour honors all selected participants with virtual jersey presentations during an 8-week series released weekly through various digital and social platforms across NBC Sports. The episode featuring Smith will be released tonight, Friday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on the All-American Bowl social media platforms.
The 24th edition of the All-American Bowl will be played on Jan. 6, 2024 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be streamed live on both NBC and Peacock.
